The University of Canberra is seeking two Assistant Professors in Psychology to join the Faculty of Health.

The appointee will be expected to contribute to the research and teaching efforts within the Discipline of Psychology. We especially seek applicants able to teach and research in the area of Health Psychology, but we are primarily focused on recruiting the best candidates regardless of specific area. The appointee will be expected to develop an active research program, including seeking funding, conducting research, and publishing. The appointee will be committed to student learning, through coordination and delivery of units, and supervision of honours, masters, and PhD-level research projects. And the appointee will be expected to contribute to the scholarly and collegial community within the School, the Faculty, and beyond.

The successful candidates will have:

  • A PhD in Psychology (or nearing completion)
  • A developing research trajectory
  • Demonstrated capacity to design, coordinate, and deliver unit and course materials.
