The University of Canberra is seeking experienced Admissions Advisors in the Global Student Recruitment Office to assist with the timely and effective processing of international and domestic student applications for coursework degrees. This is essentially a high-volume processing business support officer role. Your success in this position is thus underpinned by your strong organisational skills, eye for detail and communications skills to support the maintenance of relationships with academic staff and other key stakeholders within and external to the University.
Reporting to the Manager, Admissions, you will process applications for coursework degrees from students and educational agents and take final decisions made relating to the assessment of qualifications and the eligibility for an offer for students in line with relevant policy, guideline and legislation. You will also assist with the communication with agents, including the provision of regular information, updates and changes to the operating environment. As an experienced Admissions Advisor, your ability to promote and deliver a seamless student focused service and experience by contributing to the achievement of student recruitment targets in enrolment numbers converting these into commercial outcomes for the University will be instrumental to your success within the role. In addition, you will also possess a high level of attention to detail within a high-volume processing environment and will work well within a busy team of 12 staff.
