The University of Canberra is hiring an Associate Director - Workforce Planning and Development to work within the People & Diversity portfolio. The University of Canberra Strategic Plan 2018-2022, Distinctive by Design, outlines the vision and purpose to enhance the focus, viability, sustainability, competitiveness and engagement of the University. The key feature and first pillar of Distinctive by Design is the people focus including diversity. The People & Diversity portfolio is innovative and flexible with foundations in good practice supported by effective and efficient policy, process and technology. The portfolio grew from a business unit and has added the responsibilities of University level strategy and delivery by bringing people into every decision and action.
Operating under broad guidance from the Director – Diversity and Talent Management, the successful candidate will manage the design, development, coordination and delivery of workforce planning, talent analytics, systems and reporting and development of people for the University. This includes learning design, management and leadership development and program management aimed at building University capability.
The position will have a strong focus on people management & team management skills.
