Campus Estate at the University of Canberra is a professional property services team working across a broad range of on-campus services. This includes delivering a vibrant, safe and welcoming campus that supports world class teaching and research and responsibility for the University’s ambitious Campus Development program.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning and Development Officer to join our collaborative, friendly and energetic Campus Development and Planning team. As part of this high-functioning team, you will be supported and mentored, working across a variety of campus projects including strategic planning, strategic asset management, master planning, space utilisation and management, and new developments on campus.
To be successful in this position, applicants will be creative, strategic thinkers with excellent communication and analytical skills. This role would suit a graduate or a junior professional with demonstrated experience looking for a career in Project, Program or Development Management. Additionally, applicants with a background of Urban Planning, Architecture or Engineering (Civil or Systems) are encouraged to apply, however the position is also open to those with a background in similar areas with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
