About the role:
We’re looking for a Procurement Coordinator to manage the full procurement lifecycle—from understanding needs and running tenders to executing contracts and building strong supplier relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys making a meaningful impact through thoughtful decision-making and collaboration.
Key responsibilities:
Provide professional procurement and contract management advice to internal stakeholders
Support the creation of effective tenders, evaluate responses, and implement supplier agreements that add value and minimise risk
Manage procurement activities from initiation to execution
Collaborate across the University to maximise stakeholder engagement and expertise
Develop training and communications to build procurement capability and consistency
Maintain the procurement intranet and shared mailboxes, ensuring timely responses
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Research procurement trends and lead process improvement initiatives
About you:
Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and value creation
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to enforce procurement policies while maintaining a service-oriented approach
Experience with procurement platforms is an advantage
