About the opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Neurological Physiotherapy Clinical Educator to lead student placements and service delivery in the Neurological Physiotherapy Clinic at UC Health Clinics. You’ll be a team-focused clinician, a proven track record in student supervision, and ideally,  expertise in managing Parkinson’s disease. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine client-focused care with student education, using evidence-base practice to make a meaningful impact.

This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, with flexible working arrangements available. The role reports to the Clinical Convenor and forms part of the UC Health Clinics team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based education and support for physiotherapy students on placement
  • Work with the UC Health Clinic multidisciplinary team to develop interprofessional learning opportunities
  • Coordinate student timetables and manage client caseloads to ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with academic and clinical staff to align student experience with curriculum and research
  • Build and maintain partnerships to expand student-led neurological physiotherapy services
  • Support interdisciplinary care and referral pathways with local clinicians and organisations
  • Facilitate placements for external university students when needed
  • Maintain clinical records and databases in compliance with privacy standards
  • Contribute to promotional activities and assist with teaching and assessment as required

About you:

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Experience in clinical education and supervision
  • Clear communication skills with strong stakeholder management
  • Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines with diverse team dynamics
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and student development
