We are currently seeking a Planning and Development Officer to work in the collaborative and friendly Campus Estate team. Campus Estate at the University of Canberra is a professional property services team working across a broad range of on-campus services. This includes delivering a vibrant, safe and welcoming campus that supports world class teaching and research and responsibility for the University’s ambitious Campus Development program.
Operating under the Senior Design Manager, you will be working across a variety of campus projects including strategic planning, strategic asset management, master planning, space utilisation and management, and new developments on campus. With the recent completion of the 2020 UC Campus Master Plan, you will be closely involved in the realisation of this plan, with an integral role in shaping the future of UC’s built environment.
The ideal candidate will be a creative, strategic thinker with excellent communication and analytical skills. You will have high organisational skills and have the ability to communication with a various range of stakeholders & staff. This role is a great opportunity to join University of Canberra. A background in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Project Management or a similar field/experience is desirable but not essential.
