Careers UC is a friendly and diverse team who provides support and leadership for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) activities, careers support and education, and client services to internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Team Leader WIL, you will be working to build relationships with both industry partners and academics to deliver high quality internships and placements and strengthen UC’s position as a preferred supplier of graduates locally, nationally and internationally.
We are currently seeking a new team member to join this dynamic team as a Work Integrated Learning & Employability Advisor. In this student-centred role, you will be assisting students in undertaking professional placements and internships that are an important part of the UC degree and a distinctive element of the UC student experience.
To be successful in this role, you will be a personable and organised individual, with a commitment to providing a high level of student service with a specific speciality in industry engagement. You will also show a high level of initiative, time management skills and have a high attention to detail. You will need to be able to work well in a team and have the ability to deal with complex data and administrative processes.
An understanding of the University functions and process is desirable but not essential.
