About the opportunity:

The University of Canberra is seeking a creative, energetic go-getter to join our Advancement team as Alumni Coordinator and help bring alumni engagement to life.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Bringing alumni to life: coordinate programs, events and volunteer initiatives that connect, celebrate and engage UC’s 106,000+ alumni.
  • Communicating with impact: craft and manage eNewsletters, social media, website content and other communications that inform, inspire and build lasting connections.
  • Keeping us connected: maintain accurate alumni records, track engagement activities and generate insights to guide strategic decisions.
  • The go-to person: manage alumni contact points and merchandise requests, while supporting other initiatives that strengthen the Advancement Office and UC community.

About You:

You are a creative self-starter who enjoys connecting with people and bringing ideas to life. Thriving in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you are an organised and proactive communicator with a passion for building meaningful relationships and delivering engaging alumni experiences.

You will bring excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organisational capability, and confidence using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and email marketing tools. You can manage competing priorities, coordinate activities and meet deadlines in a busy environment, with experience supporting engagement programs or events from planning through to delivery. You demonstrate high attention to detail, reliability and a flexible, can-do approach.

You will hold a relevant degree with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or training/education.
