About the opportunity:
We're on the lookout for a proactive and detail-focused Finance Advisor to support the seamless coordination of financial processes across the DVC Portfolio. Working closely with business units, the Finance Department, and the DVC Office, you'll help drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and maintain data accuracy across multiple systems.
With the University's financial year ending on 31 December 2025, this role requires your availability to support the team during the Christmas roster.
Key Responsibilities:
Process transactions (AP/AR, credit cards, fund transfers)
Monitor grants, scholarships, and revenue reporting
Deliver cost centre reports and support budget planning
Assist with year-end processing and accruals
Prepare enrolment and course revenue splits
What We’re Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
Experience navigating multiple financial systems
Familiarity with Callista or similar student record platforms will be an advantage
Solid understanding of financial reporting
Availability for the December/January roster
