About the role:
The Operations and Research Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Faculty’s operations and research activities. In this position, you will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support across research, HDR candidature and faculty operations.
This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive problem solver who enjoys improving processes, working with digital systems and contributing ideas in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and improvement of administrative and research policies, processes and systems to enhance the experience of staff and students.
Support HDR candidature management, including monitoring the HDR portal, coordinating seminars and events, administering faculty scholarships and maintaining student databases.
Assist faculty researchers across the research lifecycle, including budget preparation, compliance requirements and post-award support.
Act as a key point of contact for Faculty HDR students, academics and researchers.
About you:
You are a tech-savvy, analytical thinker with strong digital literacy and a natural curiosity for how things can be done better. You approach challenges with critical thinking, enjoy streamlining processes and are confident working with data, systems and spreadsheets.
As part of a small, vibrant team, you communicate clearly, work well with others and are comfortable taking ownership while supporting colleagues when needed.
