About the role:

Love helping people? Thrive in a fast-paced, student-focused role? We’re looking for a confident, friendly and motivated Student Advisor who can hit the ground running and genuinely loves working with people.

This is a student-facing role for someone who brings a strong customer service mindset, learns quickly, and enjoys solving problems. You’ll be a trusted first point of contact for students and academics alike, supporting students through their study journey and helping them navigate systems, processes and opportunities with confidence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional, student-focused customer service by case-managing and resolving enquiries from prospective and current students via CRM, face-to-face, email and phone.
  • Providing advice on study plans, enrolment, course rules, versions, and student progression, escalating complex matters where required.
  • Supporting student recruitment activities such as Open Day, Course Advice Days and school visits.
  • Administering key student and course functions including Admissions, Course Progress & Completion, and Academic Integrity.
  • Coordinating and supporting internship and WIL activities in collaboration with Unit Convenors.
  • Working collaboratively with academics and professional staff across the University to resolve issues and deliver positive outcomes.

 About you:

You bring a strong customer service focus, a can-do attitude and the ability to learn quickly in a busy environment. You’re comfortable navigating systems, enjoy problem-solving, and take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
