About the role:
The University of Canberra is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Engagement Coordinator to help showcase and celebrate the Faculty’s teaching, research, and achievements.
This is a dynamic, people-focused role where no two days are the same. You will coordinate a diverse portfolio of events, create compelling content across multiple platforms, and build strong relationships that enhance the Faculty’s profile and impact. Occasional out-of-hours work may be required to support events and engagement activities.
Key responsibilities:
Plan, promote and deliver a wide range of Faculty events, including student recruitment, outreach, and industry engagement activities
Develop and manage engaging content for websites and promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency
Support Work Integrated Learning (WIL) initiatives through industry engagement and partnership coordination
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, alumni, and industry partners
Identify new engagement opportunities and evaluate the success of activities through reporting and insights
About you:
You are an organised and proactive communicator with experience in events, engagement or communications, and a strong ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders. You bring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities, along with a collaborative mindset and a passion for connecting people and ideas.
