About the role:

Due to the Discipline of Physiotherapy discipline growing in size, reach and research, UC is seeking two passionate and experienced Physiotherapists to join as Education Focused Lecturers. These exciting opportunities provide the chance to contribute to the education of future health professionals while maintaining strong connections with contemporary clinical practice and research.

We are recruiting for two discipline-specific appointments:

• Lecturer in Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy)
• Lecturer in Physiotherapy (Neurological Physiotherapy)

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaboratively developing, delivering and evaluating undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy Accredited curriculum
• Preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, practical classes, workshops, demonstrations and professional placement activities
• Supporting student learning, engagement and wellbeing
• Contributing to research and scholarly activities aligned with the Discipline's strategic priorities

About you:

You are an enthusiastic Physiotherapist with a passion for education and developing the next generation of clinicians. You bring contemporary clinical expertise, strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching and professional engagement. The successful candidate will have the following desirable qualifications and experience:

• Expertise in person-centred and inclusive physiotherapy practice
• Experience managing complex clients across a range of clinical environments and caseloads
• Honours to PhD in the following discipline would be advantageous, or 5 years clinical experience:

• Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (for the Musculoskeletal-focused role), or
• Neurological Physiotherapy (for the Neurological-focused role)

• Experience supervising, mentoring or delivering clinical education to students or early-career clinicians
• Demonstrated capacity to design, develop, coordinate and deliver evidence-based clinical learning experiences that align with AHPRA standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Research training or experience, including research design, critical appraisal and basic statistical methods
