About this Role:
We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Faculty Manager to support the Executive Dean in leading the Faculty's finance, operations, and professional staff functions. This pivotal role provides strategic leadership across areas including data analysis, reporting, facilities management, education, research, business development, and operational alignment.
About you
Extensive knowledge of university financial systems and budget processes
Proven line management and project management experience
Strong ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Confidence to operate independently and alongside senior leadership
A strategic mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Deep understanding of student revenue models and their impact on financial health
A relevant qualification (highly regarded)
About the role:
Develop and implement strategic and operational plans
Lead, develop, and manage performance of professional staff teams
Oversee faculty budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, including student load and market share
Drive business process improvement and external relations activities
Collaborate with academics, researchers, and managers to align operations with academic priorities
Work with the Research Manager to support research grants strategy and compliance
Assist in managing HR policy implementation and workload allocations
Foster a culture of collaboration and clear communication across the Faculty and with external partners
