About the opportunity:
The Faculty of Health is offering two exciting education-focused Lecturer positions, specialising in Dietetics and Nutrition. These roles provide a unique opportunity to inspire the next generation of health professionals by delivering innovative and engaging teaching while fostering integrated learning experiences.
Successful candidates will contribute to the scholarship of learning, support student success, and actively engage with relevant domestic and international stakeholders within their respective disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver innovative teaching curricula
Lead lectures, tutorials, practical classes, and workshops
Design and implement assessment strategies
Engage with stakeholders to strengthen academic and industry relationships
Requirements:
Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics (0.6FTE)
PhD in Nutrition and Dietetics (or enrolment in a PhD in Nutrition and Dietetics and relevant professional experience).
A Dietitian (with Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia or eligibility to apply).
Demonstrated capacity to design, develop, coordinate and deliver subject and course material, including where appropriate online and blended delivery modes.
Established links with outside organisations that are of benefit to the Discipline of Nutrition and Dietetics in terms of learning and teaching, practice or scholarship.
High level interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and establish effective relationships with staff, students and industry stakeholders.
Lecturer in Human Nutrition (0.4FTE)
PhD in Human Nutrition (or enrolment in a PhD in Human Nutrition and relevant professional experience).
A Nutritionist or Dietitian (with Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia or eligibility to apply).
Demonstrated capacity to design, develop, coordinate and deliver subject and course material, including where appropriate online and blended delivery modes.
Established links with outside organisations that are of benefit to the Discipline of Nutrition and Dietetics in terms of learning and teaching, practice or scholarship.
High level interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and establish effective relationships with staff, students and industry stakeholders.
