The Office of the Chancellor is seeking a Senior Secretariat Coordinator to provide essential secretariat and administration services to the University’s governing bodies and committees.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage responsibilities autonomously
  • Manage Academic Governance committees that meet a minimum six times a year
  • Support the Secretariat Manager with Academic Governance projects and coordination
  • Engage with interesting content that informs decision making
  • Uphold governance policies to ensure best practices in university governance
  • Drive connection and collaboration among staff and committee members
  • Contribute to meaningful continuous improvement governance projects
  • Maintain timelines, strategic work plans, action lists and committee charters
  • Manage committee member support and engagement
  • Assist with elections and the ceremonial aspects of Graduations
  • Assist the Secretariat team with other work as required.

  • Your meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Superior proof-reading and writing abilities
  • Experience in secretariat or related areas
  • Professional and collaborative interpersonal and communication expertise.
