About the opportunity:
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented student support professional.
As the go-to person for day-to-day operations, student engagement, and event coordination, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of the Faculty’s Research Student program. From admission to completion, you’ll be a trusted point of contact—providing timely advice, pastoral care, and seamless coordination of services that help our research students thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Be available for student drop-ins, offering friendly and effective support
Coordinate event logistics, including seminars, exam preparation, and print-ready materials
Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations
Triage inquiries and direct students or staff to the appropriate services
Deliver high-quality student support with a strong customer service mindset
Collaborate effectively in larger team environments and contribute to group success
Requirements:
Strong administrative and coordination skills with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a student-first mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience in higher education or research administration is highly desirable
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to supporting students and academic staff
Familiarity with Office 365 and use of AI to support administrative work is an advantage
