UC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Educational Quality Business Partner to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving academic excellence across the university.
Key Responsibilities:
As a strategic partner to faculties, you will:
Align learning and teaching practices with university strategy.
Provide high-level advice to the Associate Director, Learning and Teaching on academic quality and excellence.
Lead initiatives to monitor, evaluate, and improve academic quality in alignment with the Higher Education Standards Framework and university policies.
Collaborate with Associate Deans (Education) and academic staff to deliver on strategic educational priorities.
Support the design, review, and accreditation of academic programs.
Oversee the implementation of the Curriculum Management System (CLaMS).
Co-deliver scholarly programs that build academic staff capability in pedagogy, curriculum design, and assessment.
Coordinate recognition programs such as UC Teaching Awards, AAUT Awards, and HEA Fellowships.
Contribute to the development and review of academic policies and procedures.
Provide expert advice to academic governance committees.
Prepare high-quality reporting.
Ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory standards.
About you:
You are a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of higher education quality frameworks and a passion for continuous improvement. To be successful in this role you will bring:
Relevant tertiary qualification (Masters' level or above preferred)
Prior experience as an Academic in a Higher Education environment would be highly regarded
Proven experience in academic quality assurance, governance and enhancement.
Strong knowledge of the Higher Education Standards Framework.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong time management and prioritising ability
Experience in curriculum design, review, and accreditation processes.
A commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in teaching and learning.
