About the opportunity:
The University of Canberra is seeking a dynamic Project Change Manager (Curriculum Management) to lead the people side of change across key digital initiatives under our ambitious Digital Master Plan (DMP). This role is pivotal to the success of the Stabilise Phase —the foundational first three years of our ten-year digital journey. You will play a central role in ensuring operational stability and embedding digital capabilities, with a particular focus on changes to our Curriculum Management System .
Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the Digital Initiatives team, you will:
Develop and implement change management strategies tailored to digital projects.
Create and deliver communication plans, training programs, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Collaborate with project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure successful adoption.
Assess change readiness and stakeholder impact using best practice frameworks like ADKAR and Kotter’s.
Identify and mitigate risks and resistance to change.
Integrate change management with project delivery and governance.
Monitor and evaluate change effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed.
Apply sound judgment and initiative in a dynamic, agile environment.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
Extensive experience in change management, ideally within digital transformation or complex environments.
Strong knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter’s).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust.
A collaborative and proactive mindset, with creative problem-solving abilities.
A commitment to UC’s values and a passion for inclusive, transparent, and empowering change.
Experience in higher education or curriculum management systems (highly desirable).
