About the opportunity:

As a Lecturer in Strength and Conditioning, you will lead and shape strength and conditioning education within a dynamic Sport and Exercise Science discipline, delivering high-quality teaching, coordinating core units, and driving curriculum innovation, particularly in strength and conditioning and exercise prescription for human performance.

This role is ideally suited to someone with applied experience in strength and conditioning practice, who is passionate about student learning and real-world impact. Part-time arrangements can be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to teaching, curriculum design, and innovation in strength and conditioning and exercise prescription
  • Coordinate and continuously improve units across undergraduate and postgraduate programs
  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, practicals, and lab-based teaching
  • Contribute to teaching across broader sport and exercise science areas aligned to your expertise
  • Build and maintain strong links with industry, sporting organisations, and professional bodies

About You:

You bring a postgraduate qualification in Strength and Conditioning, Sport and Exercise Science (or a related field), with a PhD completed or in progress, alongside applied experience in strength and conditioning practice or athlete development in high-performance environments.
