About the role:

The University of Canberra is seeking a creative and energetic Community Engagement Coordinator to help connect students with the support, resources, and services available through the UC Medical & Counselling Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in promoting student health and wellbeing through meaningful campaigns, engaging events, innovative digital content, and collaborative partnerships across the University. About you:

You thrive on managing multiple priorities, being efficient, exploring new ideas, challenging conventional approaches, and identifying fresh opportunities to connect students with health and wellbeing services.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Experience in community engagement, health promotion, communications, marketing, events, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating events, campaigns, or engagement activities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Digital literacy and proficiency with the ability to create engaging content across multiple platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

UC encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, neurodiversity and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
